Services:
	Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 28297 Old Village Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659, with Rev. Msrg. Paul Gozaloff officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
Visitation:
	Public Visitation will be in the funeral home on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 from 5 - 8 PM with Prayers being held at 7:00 PM.
	Catherine Virginia Farrell, 82, of Charlotte Hall, MD, died April 9, 2004 in St. Mary's Nursing Home. Born April 21, 1921 in Charlotte Hall, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Alton and Bessie Rebecca Buckler Herbert. She was the wife of the late Archie Gwynn Farrell who she married on January 31, 1943 in Chaptico, MD and who predeceased her on September 23, 1977. She was the mother of Agnes Stone and David Farrell of Mechanicsville, George Farrell of Charlotte Hall and the late Bertha Ann Wathen and Alice Farrell. Mrs. Farrell was the sister of Viola Stonestreet of New Market, MD, Evelyn Latham of Mechanicsville, Wilson Herbert of Port Tobacco, MD, Wilmer Herbert of New Jersey and the late Isabella McAllister, Mary Buckler and Charlie, Howard, Albert and James Herbert. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Mrs. Farrell was a life long St. Mary's County resident and homemaker who enjoyed sewing, playing bingo, watching TV, flowers, baby-sitting, animals, sight-seeing and eating out, especially Copsey's Seafood , her favorite restaurant. Prayers were said on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Reverend Msgr. Paul Gozaloff officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD. Pallbearers for Mrs. Farrell will be Albert Lee Farrell, Randy Wathen, Louis Herbert, Dale Herbert, Bobby Richards and Tommy Stonestreet.
