Services:
  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 10:00 AM in St. Johns Catholic Church, St. Johns Road, Hollywood, MD, with Father Flum officiating. Interment will follow at 12:30 PM in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD.

Visitation:
  Public Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday, April 12, 2004 from 5 - 8 PM with prayers being held at 7:00 PM.
  Audrey Rebecca Carroll, 93, of Hollywood, MD, died April 6, 2004 in Bryantown, MD. Born October 31, 1910 in Hollywood, MD she was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Annie Drury Greenwell. She was the loving wife of the late William Howard Carroll whom she married December 30, 1940 in Forestville, MD. She was the devoted mother of Joe F. King of Bethesda, MD and Betty A. Inserni of Glendale, MD. She was the sister of Sister of Alberta Montgomery of LaPlata, MD, Mary Clark of Mechanicsville, MD, Agnes Stantan of Bradenton, FL, Cyrilla Clark of Hollywood, MD, Deloris Cecil of Loveville, MD and the late Ella Gardiner, Madge DeMarr, Tissie Jameson and Buddy, Marvin, Benny, John, Fred and Sonny Greenwell. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Ms. Carroll graduated in 1927 from St. Teresa High School. In 1965, she retired from St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington, DC and she also retired from St. Mary's Hospital. Ms. Carroll belonged to the Catholic Daughters Court Andrew White. Prayers will be held on Monday, April 12, 2004 at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5-8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 10:00 AM in St. John's Catholic Church Hollywood, MD with Father Martin Flum officiating.
