"I have too may fond memories to list them all. I always felt like Darlene was my second mother. I called her Darwinnie when I was a child. She gave me a pink teddy bear that played lullaby when I was 2 years old after I had fractured my skull. I still have that bear. I wish we could have kept in touch better. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family. She was a great lady and I loved her very much. I will cherish my memories with her."

I remember when I was pregnant with our last child, Karen Lisa Raley; Anyone would have thought that Darlene had a vested interest in that baby! Since she was born, Darlene has always been her "other mother"!
I have tried over the years to keep Darlene posted as to what Karen was doing and where she was.
Debbie, I am still singing the Silent Night descant you taught me @ 35 years ago and now Karen is singing it, too.
Our hearts go out to all of you! I know you will miss her, because I miss her, already!
Unfortunately, Frank and I will be in KY at the time of her services. Chrissy has a new granddaughter and we are going to see and hold her!
Please know that we will be thinking of all of you next week.
